If I get drunk & leave my phone or computer at a bar, it is my loss & the data lost would be my FAULT! I think Apple should bite the bullet that one of their developers f*ed up. I do not agree with a court giving permission to search the home of someone educated enough to understand the value of what was stumbled upon. All I can do is protect my technology so it can not be analyzed and hope that my security protections work, making the technology useless to it's finder.
I can't sue a deli for accidentally giving them a valuable rare penny, nor anyone that may have gotten it as change and realized the value.
